Uni Trip: Day One

Today we woke and left my house but then I forgot a jacket aaand a jersey so we had to go back and get one. We got to school and i told Hunny that we were actually literally going to uni. We had to wait ages and forever for Rai to come but then we left. We were just driving all day long, when we went through Nuhaka i had THE biggest smile ever coz i was just remembering the day at the start of the year and missed Awe and Natalia and coz it was just such a fun day. We got Wairoa and we we’re being ugly as, got heaps of food but no chicken and chips coz they had no more! We got to see Tyler and we we’re all just being so ugly the whole time.

Rai was my favourite person on this trip “The trees are dying” “Have you tasted goat? The meat is tender” “I like this bridge. Me too it’s big” We were just travelling, the music player wasn’t working and our van doesn't have an aux cord. We got a little bit lost on the way to EIT but we got there and had our tour around. I like EIT a lot coz it is so small and sort of personal? Sort of like our school. Our guide took us around everywhere and I was trying to think of lots of questions to ask.

We had a good look around and then got some food, we had to write out the specific things we were interested in studying and then we got a bit more information given to us. When the guy was like lets go look at the fashion Chater was like "Maybe we'll find the rest of Andreas pants" ahahahahah far we're a hansim school man!

It was dark time and Jurnee kept telling us about a long as as bridge that we we’re gonna hold our breath over the bridge. We were getting so annoyed at him and omg i was just riiiight on edge man!! The van seats are so freaking uncomfortable and i just wanted to be there i was just done. Ahahahahah but eventually we saw some actual city lights and i was waiting and waiting for the "lanterns" to come, their just like heaps as street and house light s but on a mountain so they look like they're going up and i saw them last uni trip so was so excited!!

We got to our accommodation and had to wait a while before we could go into our rooms, sorted all that out and then went out to get dinner, we just had dumb old McDonalds coz couldn't be bothered about worrying about anything else, i think we all had a little bit of culture shock to be honest, just us little country bumpkins in the big city hahaha!! It was a very fun and long day and we stayed up till like 12 making all our official plans for the next day so we didn't get lost. Then tried to get to sleep with all the lights and cars outside.
