Day 25: Christmas Day

Yaaaay!! Christmas! Bestest day of the year!! We woke up in the morning and opened our stockings then our presents! I was so spoiled and super grateful! Mum kept going on about how everyone really thought about their presents this year hahah! And my dad go us his usual dad presents. We played a game of ludo and brothers got soo competitive!! it was funny as! We had a big family lucnch with our family friends aswell and then kickedback! At night we played the best game ever! Heads Up! It was so much fun and so so so funny i love my family man! Thats a memory i wanna remember forever! It was such a fun Christmas and i love all the people around me :D

Day 24: Christmas Eve

Today is Christmas Eve and I quite honestly refuse to believe that! Where has 2013 even gone! Like whut! But today we watched movies all day! Like not even Christmas movies just the ones on my USB haha all four of us kids were sitting on the big three seater couch and yeah we were all just chilling out!! Then we got new pyjamas before we went to bed and just yeah! Christmaaaaaaas tomorrow!! Nice chilled good day! Merry Christmas!

Day 23: More Christmas Nails

Yay more nails!! The other day I got a black and a white proper tiny nail polish brushes and fake nails! So I just quickly did little presents for a couple days and then I specially painted fake nails then put like three of them on upside down -.- idiot! But I loved them so Christmassy! It's a Christmas tree, snowflake, rudolph, santa hat, and a snowman! So happy, so proud hahahaha But Merry Christmas!

Day 22: Pre-Christmas

My cousin is going with his dad for Christmas so we had a Pre-Christmas for him! We got all his presents out from under the tree and that was like half of them gone haha! My aunty's old flat mates, Jai's brother and his mum all came out and we all just played with all the presents he got and had a big lunch! It was real fun and his favourite present was the hat I gave him! He wore it the whole day and wouldn't let anyone even touch it! It's so great giving presents That people love!! So yeah it was just like Christmas day but just for one little boy, so kind of just like a birthday too! Anyways Merry Christmas!

Day 21: DIY

Yoo so today I made a whole a whole bunch of presents! I made this hella epic, hella rad, hella retro canvas with all his old tapes on it honestly looks so good! And then I made Olea and Huruteas presents! Huruteas was like all nice, sophisticated and sentimental ahahhaha! But all of Oleas are like hansim inside joke ones, and I wrapped hers so perfectly I love it so much! Cant wait to give them to them! Gaaah! I'll put up a photo after they actually open them so just in case they read this :D Merry Christmas!

Day 20: Hanging out with Baby

Today wasn't very Christmassy again! But me and Teah went and hung out with Bly and Ayva! We just kicked back, ate junk food and watched movies! It was so much fun and I just love those two! Me and Bly can laugh for days! So very fun very chilled, cute day! Then Hurutea stayed the night and we slept on the tramp hahaha it was so cold but so fun! Merry Christmas!

Day 19: Movies

Christmas movies are the best movies in the world by far!! I love them so much, but the only thing that would make them better if we got to watch them in winter! New Zealand Christmas is in summer time so it's not exactly the best time to light the fire and snuggle up with a blanket! But this year we had a proper marathon! I made peppermint popcorn that was alright I guess, nothing too special. And we just recorded a whole bunch of movies that were on tv throughout the week and watched them as a family! Obviously the boys bailed towards the end. We watched Elf, Polar Express, Santa Clause 3, How the Grinch Stole Christmas and then The Holiday again, and Mean girls haha which is totally a Christmas movie! I've come to the conclusion that I want my husband to be just as excited for Christmas as Buddy the elf is :D Yes so very happy and Christmassy day! Merry Christmas!

Day 18: Fruit Tree

Ha ha I'm so funny! But today we went to town and then did a little Christmas shopping. But then I made a little Christmas tree out of fruit and it was so cute and so good! Not much else to say about that! Healthy, yummy goodness :D Merry Christmas!

Day 17: Paper Snowflakes

Yay more snowflakes! It's definitely the theme for this year I guess, and you know what we're making even more on Friday :D but today we made th folded up cut out ones! They were kind of a fail at the start because we didn't have Internet so I couldn't look up how to properly do it real professionally and the proper way, coz I thought all you had to do was fold the square paper in half three times but no there's actually a specific way to do it! I just like looked at patterns on Pinterest and made two alright ones and might make some more tomorrow, but we hung them all up on the roof and it makes the room literally look like the definition of Christmas! I love it so so so much! Merry Christmas! 

Day 16: The Holiday

Gaaaaaah yes just yes! Today I watched The Holiday which is one of my absolute favourite Christmas movies! Pretty much every Christmas movie I love and is my favourite ahahaha! But this one is so perfect! Has the best actors, British people and American, greatest story, cutest little kids. I just love it! It's on tv every year so I pretty much wait all year for this one pivitol moment hahahaha! I love it and that's all I really have to say about that! Then tonight I went to FHE with Olea and Hurutea! And we learnt about the symbols of Christmas it was actually super cool! Then obviously we were just cracking up the whole entire time! Merry Christmas!

Day 15: Hot Chocolate

Okay this one I'm super excited for! I've put like the most kind of effort and planning into I guess! Tonight we had a hot chocolate bar! It was so cute okay omg haha! I made a big ol batch of crockpot hot chocolate, which was aight! Then had a bowl of marmallows, chocolate shavings, which i had to grate myself, i would highly recommend just buy flakes and break them up, crushed candy canes and also whipped cream. Then omg haha i'm just so excited! I made these little candycane card holders and then printed off these adorable little like namecards from this template and it was all just oh so cute! Even though it's Summertime and I'm sitting here in a singlet and shorts it was so much fun and so yum! Ton obviously wasn't here coz she never is and we had two of my cousins here! Merry Christmas!

Day 14: Partaaay

So another day that wasn't too Christmassy! Today was the 'annual' Xmas Jam in Te Karaka but we went to my cousins (second cousin) 21st and also his brothers 19th. It was reeeeal hot when we were at home but then it turned into like a full on thunder storm! Lightning and mega dark clouds, my absolute favourite kind of weather , except for lightning. So yeah that was like the forst 21st I've ever been too! Me and Ton had half a redbull each before we went so were super hyper but then actually crashed sooo hard! I was almost falling asleep at the table! I love my family so much but so wish we were closer because they're legit so cool! I want my kids to be close with all their family but then that sorta means that i have to close with my family which I'm not really compared to others but thats because of like my parents kinda thing? It's like a big ole cycle! So yeah happy birthday to both my cousins and Merry Christmas!

Day 13: Beach Day

So today we didn't really do anything Christmassy but we did go to the beach! We got strawberries and ice cream on the way in and then the boys went to the bowl so we got pizza! I had extremely bad and orange fake tanned legs and was wearing shorts coz obviously it's hot and so I didn't want no one to see me hahahah! It was fully like Angus Thongs and Perfect Snogging hahah! So yeah we just swam and surfed and had family fun times! Merry Christmas!

Day 12: Colouring

Yeeeeh man today we did some BEAUTIFUL Christmas colouring pages! I just printed some off and the boys chose which one they wanted to do. Obviously Ton did not attend! And then the whole time all of them were complaining about how hard it was! It's freaking colouring for goodness sake! Far out they're all starting to annoy me with their Grinch-ness!! I have to make sure i get a boyfriend/husband who loves christmas or can at least tolerate doing Christmassy things! Like all the youtube boys are so joyful and jolly! Christmas sweaters and all! Far out it's just not fair! But we all did our colourings and finally finished hahaha and then the boys went straight back to their addictions! Hopefully tomorrow will be more Christmassy! But Merry Christmas anyways!

Day 11: Paper Snowflakes

Yes then! When we went to the ball the other day, ages ago, there were these paper snow flake decorations and I was so confused and interested by them! And now I found a tutorial here and it seemed simple enough so me and just Cam made some! It's not really that like relevant coz it's boiling here and we're making snowflakes but yah know what, we're gonna make cut out snowflakes too sometime soon so yeh hahaha! It took like one hour and we only made two! Farout everyone's gotta have a bit more Christmas spirit and get involved! And here's probably the worst picture on my whole blog. Yes that's a giant spider in the background! But Merry Christmas!

Day 10: Decorating the Tree

Finally!! Hahaha everyone's had their trees up since like the 1st! But now ours is up and all decorated! A few presents under it! I love it when other people's presents are under the tree, like it's not just family, my friends ones are under there too and it's just oh so exciting! We listened to Christmas music, Georgette was here it was just a bunch of good family fun hahahah! We were tryna put the lights on and the whole tree kinda just feel over! It was so hot and and everyone was kinda in a bad mood! But so happy it's up and so Christmassy! Absolutely love the smell of real Christmas trees! And we're the total losers who put the most beautiful star/angel at the top of the tree hahaha! Merry Christmas!

Day 9: Gingerbread Village

Yay so today we made little gingerbread houses! I got this kit in Hamilton and Cam's been annoying me about it since then! Ton's not here so it was just me and the boys. It was really messy and complicated but they turned out pretty cute and good! Merry Christmas!

Day 8: Photoshoot

So today wasn't entirely Christmassy, we had to do like a little family photoshoot for our nanas Christmas present! It was so ugly but funny and just straight up hansim. Our cameras not that great and we had a weird sheet over the door hahah it was totes professional! And now I've completely over-edited and might look hansim but I dont curr! Then we went and actually cut our tree but we're not gonna decorate it til tomorrow, we like to drag things out and make everything difficult ahaha! But hurrs some over edited un-creepy and like boring pictchaaaaas!

It felt like we were doing a proper Christmas card or something, but when I grow up and have my own family I'll have a proper camera and take really good fun photos! I don't like photos that are posed, the best ones are when you're laughing and just having fun yah knau? Merry Christmas!
